First post since Homegrown

It's been a couple of months and I haven't posted a thing. There have been graduations, anniversaries, birthdays, and a new house.......it's been a little busy. Here are some taken since April along the way of my various adventures.

Homegrown Music Festival 2009

This was my first full participation of Homegrown. 7 days, over 100 acts in over a dozen venues. It was incredibly fun to photograph and take in. I would like to say thanks to my friend Rich Narum for sharing his scheduling choices and vast knowledge of the local music scene.

I have a few more ideas in mind for a series I would like to do. I would like to compile 50+ of these images. The coat was done a while ago, but I did the trousers a couple days ago. More to come...

I went down to Jay Cooke State Park with photographer Shawn Thompson the other night for some evening shooting. This is the first time in the almost 7 years I have been up here that I have been to Jay Cooke. I always forget about it, and travel north. Anyway, here's what I came up with...

My wife and I went out to Tischer to do a reshoot from last time I was there. A couple of panoramas follow.

This is 12 shots stitched together. I tried this shot last time, but didn't really think about the appropriate way to pull it off. I am much happier with this result.

This was only 3 shots, but I like it. I haven't been able to get to this location on previous trips as there was far too much ice.

I've gone over to Tischer Creek the last two days for what I thought was finally spring shooting. Today has proven that wrong, but, that's fine. I don't mind the snow as much as other people around here. I'm glad I got some outdoor shooting in while it was fairly nice out. I'm going a little stir crazy, you know.........

Dear Blog,

I did a shoot for my friend Kate, and one of her friends, Reno, a couple weeks ago. They are having a recital of sorts at UWS and needed some photos for invitations and what have you, so here are a few.

Until next time...
